Poster

  1. Hi Robin,
I really love this poster. It's a simple but strong message in your design. I like how the fence isn't just a straight line across the image, which makes it interesting to look at. Its nice also that the text is a bit faded since the black of the fence is so sharp, otherwise if you chosen a solid color for the text it would conflict the two harsh images. Also I like the way the flag is looked up at, almost can be taken from a child's point of view. The deep blue sky that in the background a beautiful shade.

    1. I couldn't decide if i wanted to use the text "Protect Our Borders" or "Fence Our Borders," but in my eyes either would work. Thanks for the feedback.

    2. Fence our border my have been too offensive in word, the poster expresses it perfectly. A little more color on the letters would tie the colors together.

  3. Great poster - something we do need to give attention to. My only suggestions would be to play with the outline of the fence - in some places it looks like a highlight on the upper part of the links, and in other places it is above and below which makes it look like it's outlined - two different effects. Otherwise maybe a lighter shade of blue for the sky may make the rest pop more. Good job!

  4. I think you might want to clarify your message. I am confused. "protect our borders" from what exactly?

Also while I the composition is easy to read, why did you choose this font. It is legible, but for such a hard-line assertion would you want it to "not blend, but pop"
