Book Cover Version 2

I redid the book cover without the green text for the title.  I think it turned out nice, but I still am not sure which way I like it.

And added the 3rd now, which I think I like the best.

  1. It turned out nice. I favored the second one over the the title in yellow on the spine.

  3. I am partial to your original spine color format. I think you might gravitate to the revised color font because it looks good when looking at the spine juxtaposed to the cover, however the spine, if looked at on a book shelf would stand alone, and might benefit from the pop of the red and yellow, just like the cover.

Btw I took your advise, on the font and color scheme in my book cover

  4. I think a nice compromise would be to change color of the authors name to black, and changing the tittle back to yellow. this would balance the composition of the spine by having the two black images (dragon logo and author) as "book ends" to encase the vibrant color of the title

    3. OK I was just able to see revised copy. Yes the I like it much better. I think the spine is more balanced with the black type on the top logo and black type of author to sandwich the title in yellow!

While some part of my ego is pleased that you took my suggestion.

I am exponentially more pleased that you were willing to be open to advice, try it out, then decide on your own that it did enhance the image, and your work outside of both of us is better because of it.

In reality it was a small detail but made a significant impact

      great job
